What is Email Marketing Automation?

Email Marketing Automation has deeper meaning that stop sending emails manually. You can measure and use a lot of data from your contacts that help you send relevant, personalized messages to relevant contacts, automatically.
Let’s start with an email resending campaign:After clicking on ‘New WORKFLOW’ and entering a name to the automation:
The next step is choosing a TRIGGER.
Trigger means the definition of the way, your contact will enter this automation.
If your trigger is:
FORM: This automation will start immediately if somebody subscribe on the signup form you choose in this step. The form yould be your existing form, for example a HTML form on your wordpress or unbounce landing page, or popups. Or you can create new forms in Automizy to insert is to your page if you want.
TAG: This automation will start immediately if somebody get a TAG you choose here. TAG is a label attached to your contact for the purpose of segmentation. Useful tags for example: EBOOKNAME_DOWNLOADED, CAMPAIGN_OPENED, PAYING_CUSTOMER, etc.
HAS ANNIVERSARY: This automation will start ON THE DATE if somebody has a custom field for example: birthday, first paid date, etc every year. You can use this building real engagement with your customers.

Now we will use the TAG as a trigger and creating a TAG:'test1' and push ENTER button. You should see this:
Click on OK.
If you are ready, click on + and choose Email Sending as a next step.
Now we will create a Drag and Drop Email. If you want to check all opportunities you can use in our Email Editor, CLICK HERE.
Add a subject line: My first email
Click on NEXT.
Drag and Drop a “Title”, Text and Button to your email.
Click on next and check the preview on mobile, tablet and PC than click on Done.
And click OK.
Add a Wait for action: this is important to wait 1-3 days after sending an email to give enough time to open your letter.
After you set up waiting for section, add a condition:Whether they have opened your email or not.
If not, choose email sending, copies your email but this time give an other subject line.
If yes, do an action: get a TAG: opened_email1 and ENTER.
Now you are ready, PUBLISH your automation:)
What will happen now?
Now nothing will happen because there is no contact who has a tag: test1.
If you add this tag to yourself, or to an other contact, this automation will send the first email immediately, than wait the days you set up and check the condition, resend the email or add a tag to your contact.
To add this tag to yoursef: Go to Contacts menu, click on VIEW on your list, than click on view of your contact. And Click in TAGS part to add 'test1' tag.
How can you control this? If you click on VIEW and go to your automation again, you will see every analytics here in one place.
